Accommodation

Accommodation is limited in Kuala Selangor because of its proximity to Kuala Lumpur, as most visitors make it a day trip here rather than an overnight stay. For travellers without cars, it's also convenient to take a day tour package from the city to explore Kuala Selangor's attractions. There is only one three star hotel near town, situated behind Bukit Melawati; De Palma Inn offers the closest thing to luxury comfort if you have the budget. The rest consist of budget hotels contained within shoplot units facing the main highway of town, and a few at the base of Melawati Hill. Slightly further out, there is the Firefly Park Resort, a bunch of chalets by the river at Kampung Belimbing.
