The Firefly Park Resort is an eco-hotel that provides accommodation for visitors at Kampung Belimbing, most who come to see the fireflies light up the mangroves at night. The resort consists of drab wooden chalets that sit across a shallow but slightly fetid pool, part of a small waterway that feeds into the greater Selangor river. Surrounded by mangrove forest, it is common to see local birds, silver leaf monkeys and ocassionally otters around the resort. The hotel chalets are basic but comfortable, providing necessary creature comforts such as air-conditioning and water heaters. Each unit contains two small rooms, which means a chalet can fit up to four guests.
