Places to Visit

Several places of interest lie beyond Kuala Selangor's attractions, including charming rural fishing villages and pleasant but muddy beaches. Pasir Penambang is the nearest destination, being a Chinese fishing village town renowned for its numerous seafood restaurants and traditional shopping products. Tanjung Karang, which lies about 7km north, is similar, but more rural at heart with pleasant countryside scenery. Heading south towards Klang, visitors will come across Pantai Jeram, about 18km away. Pantai Jeram is a beach but famous for its restaurants that serve 'Ikan Bakar'. Finally, Pantai Remis is another beach that lies about 2km down the coast from Pantai Jeram.
